АПЛИКАЦИОНЕН ФОРМУЛАР

This youth exchange will gather 35 young people from Turkey, Italy, Spain, Estonia, France, Czech republic and Macedonia.

In recent years, Islamophobia has been fueled by public anxiety over immigration and integration of Muslim minorities into majority cultures in Europe. Whether we realize or not, this anti-love trend, negative ideas and behaviors are already critical and the phenomenon is steadily increasing since the 9/11 terrorists attacks, more attacks followed in London & Madrid, the massacre at Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris, airport explosion in Brussels, attacks in Ankara-İstanbul, and the menace remains in Europe.

The use of Islam by extremists to justify their terrorist acts has made many Europeans regard Islam as a threat and fear Muslims as the enemy. Some media in Europe have succumbed to reporting based on stereotypes and used the actions of Islamists to stigmatize Muslim populations. As a result, radical movements are increasing & so radical political parties in Europe. And, what is EU doing? What is happening in our countries? What do we really know or experience about all this? Hating each other, increasing number of people with xenophobia can these solve problems? What are our prejudices towards other cultures? Can we live in peace altogether and accept differences?

Therefor we want to:

1-Promote tolerance to other cultures.

2-Promote European Union active citizenship.

3-Foster imaginative ideas to generate new solutions to conflicts

Working methods:

Games, icebreaking, energizer, brainstorming, group work, discussions, forum theatre, national evenings, gymkhana, visits to local NGOs, learning reflection.
